Just a gorgeous bottle of Gevrey. Meaty, minty and somewhat feral but controlled aromas mix with more traditional dark cherry and black cherry. It’s got that Girard effusiveness. Gevrey is so particular. Palate is lush and deep with that slay 22 fruit. Fresh, energetic and opulent with extraordinarily delicate yet velvety sweet tannins. The 22’s are so so good now. Tangy, deep, pure and so fresh. Wow this is stunning. Yup, a 9.5. Let’s see what air does.
