Cuvée Impériale Vignes Centenaires Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Dark fruit on the nose. Ripe Grenache.. plum. A little raisin at the edges. On the palate a little hot and simple. There’s a real drop off in the midpalate. A pretty disappointing wine.

A little too much--tastes too fruity, too hot and uni-dimensional. Even a decant didn't help ;(

A lot of wine tonight and the CdP is the standout. It's the ultimate expression of fruit and because its a blend they can dial it in to be be beyond amazing. But this can get deeper. Needs a few more years c

Amazing depth of flavor, loads of sweet tannins, broad mid-palate and an amazing finish.

Straight forward. Some rich red fruit but could use more acidity and a bit more distinctiveness.

Dark red currant, rosemary and white chocolate. This wine is in need of just a bit more time in bottle. Has a bright future.

This CDP is one of the best I have had in a long time!!!!

Liquorice, kirsch, lavender and crushed stones. Tannins come through. Young.
Needs more Cellaring

Yowza. This is going to be amazing in 10+ years. Already beautiful but a long way to go.
