Big rich fruity wine with white fruit and berries. — 5 months ago
Used the Durand on the cork - soaked to the edge. Decanted for 2 hours.
This wine had some gaminess. Smooth. Fruit was a bit wild and overpowered by the savory flavors.
Paired well with the chicken skewers and onions. Needed complex flavors in the food to pair well.
Good but quite a bit below the Beaucastel — 9 months ago
June 2024. 65% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 5% Counoise. SO good. Medium- Full bodies. Intense red fruit, chocolate. Well balanced. Wish I had a case! — 2 years ago
Just delicious! I’ve had great luck w/Savoie wines and this was no different: pours extremely dark, inky, opaque, brooding taking its time to unfurl black & red fruit w/depth, earthy w/a hi tone note along with licorice and forest floor. Big mouth filling broad across palate, gobs of fruit but all fit into sturdy tannic frame. Well cut - a Country Squire — 4 years ago

Puligny- Montrachet “Les Charmes” Raymond DuPont-Fahn. This wine is so fresh and smooth. It is a Burgundybut it tastes like a fresh Chardonnay to me. Purchased in France when we were there. So yummy. — 7 years ago

2023. 15% super full gas. Brambles a good descriptor. Tight acidity with a solid body of sweet dark fruit from the Mourvèdre. Bit cloying and not elegant but super pure fruit. And great. — 2 months ago
