Elk Haven Winery
Father to Four Zeron Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Elk Haven Winery Father to Four Zeron Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, Red Mountain, Washington State
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Pretty color of ruby with a wide reddish rim.
Nose of sweet raspberries, cherries, red currants, cedar, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco leaf, light charcoal, herbs, spices, dark chocolates and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, plums, currants, light cedar, earth, herbs, chocolates, peppercorn and tobacco leaf.
Nice length on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Red Mountain in Washington State. Fruit forward and soft, with a big bite and an elegant nose. Powerful, complex and interesting.
This Single Vineyard Cabernet is Still young, but already enjoyable, even by itself.
Needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in French oak barrels for 2 years. First vintage from the vineyard. A small production of only 2 barrels.
14.3% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
$100.
