Third Chianti I have tried and third completely different experience. This one had a much heavier mouthfeel, and a lot less flavour than the other two I tried. It did improve and open up after an hour like the others, but I felt underwhelmed by the lack of boldness and very mild flavour. Almost like it was past its prime and had lost a bit. Heavy taste of black cherry and current, and even a hint of strawberry. Glad I tried it for the experience of it but won’t be buying this bottle again.
