Beaujolais-Villages Gamay

Razor sharp focus. Raspberry with the leaves, wet earth, a little tannic grip and a partially opened rose. Killer.

Enjoyed over the weekend, but did not take notes then. I heard Beaujolais pairs with hotdogs, seriously, so I thought we would try some. It was simple, and quaffable!

Black plum, raspberries, a little Christmas cake, wet black earth, black tea, spice, crushed dry rocks, a touch tannic, red and pink roses. Finishes with some tobacco leaf.

Light, fresh red fruit with a healthy dose of cherry (maybe raspberry) with some baking spice

Very dry finish. That said, we'll look for it the go around to Costco.

Nose is almost purely red fruits, jammy, not much depth but easy weekday wine

Not my personal preference. Highly acidic and not much body. Won't get again.

Very drinkable. Light, fruity, but not sweet. Doesn’t linger on the palate. Floral and fruity nose.
