One of four wines with a Kelley Fox dinner in Chicago. Darkest, most seriously colored and biggest wine of the four. A touch of forest floor and autumnal funk balances the dark cherry notes. Yet the wine is at best medium- weight. The acid/fruit balance keeps the wine light in its feet. Wonderful food win.

Really quite a beautiful wine. Fresh and savory with good weight of fruit and ripeness offset by moderate acidity and chalky minerality. Youthful and certainly age worthy this is currently already offering quite a bit of pleasure and intrigue.
