Brunello di Montalcino 2020. Nose: Cherry, plum. Taste: anise, cherry. Medium bodied Brunello, lots of dark fruit notes. Great with the Mediterranean meal I was having. A special bottle for me as it was shared with special people.

My choice for a dinner back home. Classic Sangiovese notes of red fruit like cherry and strawberry, and some leather and clove as well. The somm decanted it and had us wait 10 minutes before he poured the first glasses; tanins were soft but got even softer after 10 minutes decanted. Medium bodied, acidic, delicious.
