
Fruit forward, red fruit, especially cherries and raspberries with a hint of leather and chocolate. Went really well with carpaccio with truffle oil and shaved Asiago. Went even better with a veal chop with truffle sauce. Brought some home from the restaurant and enjoyed finishing the bottle with an angus blend hamburger with truffle cheese and mushrooms. So this wine went well with truffles.

This is my 3rd of four bottles. First two were dusty, spicy, and weird. This third bottle was beautiful. Balanced perfectly, nice and juicy on the front end.

Lighter mouthfeel but pretty acidic. Tastes darker than east coast cab francs for sure, and that green pepper flavor is less prominent. Would go well with red sauce pizza - very good value overall!
