Funky, ripe fruit on the nose but get more of the signature herbal Cab Franc flavors on palate for a change. Awesome (and surprisingly rich) mouthfeel. Exceeded expectations; surprised at the low ratings!

Sharp and pungent VA on the nose. Fruit covered up. Nice acidity. The 2013s seemed to be much better and cleaner.

Easy drinking fruit forward cab franc. Light hand, low alc, low extraction. Violets and tart fruit.

Cranberry, pencil shavings, Beaujolais bright fruit, floral, hint of anise and dried herb earthiness on the nose. Unmistakable pencil lead shavings on the palate, with cherry, rhubarb, tart raspberry, cran/cherry, touch of earthy steaminess and very minor oak spice. Fun wine, great with food.

Not as good as previous vintages. Fresh juice with lots of dark fruits, but lacked that telltale Cab Franc richness. A far amount of barnyard swirled around too.

Red cherry and strawberry on the nose, light to medium body with sweet, primary fruit. Nothing complex, but an easy, tasty drink.

Cali cab franc on the more delicate/light side. Cranstrawcherryberry. Soft, spicy, complimenting acid. Quite nice.

A little sweet at first, but settles down to a minerally and fruity taste reminiscent of raspberries and cherry tomatoes, with notes of blueberries on the nose. Very drinkable and uncomplicated.
