Very typical light Nebbiolo color with slight bricking at the meniscus. Nose of cherry, tar, funk, earth, with a little cotton candy around the edges. A very light wine with big acid and big tannins: unmistakably Italian!

Notes of savoury cherry and soil. Light to medium weight palate. Expected a bit more weight from the warm 2011 Vintage. In summary- Clean , Savoury and Dry. A good Lange quaffer. Continuing my Italian Week. Had this again 53 weeks later with Pasta and loved it. Perfect accompaniment.

2011 Massolino Langhe Nebbiolo - Ripe fresh cherry fruit and firm tannins. Balanced and delicious. This is quality, people.

Schneider’s $30 bought in 2015. Drank 2011 on 1/16/21. Surprisingly medium body, almost sweet red fruit — red apples, raspberries, not ripe plum. Good tannin and acid.

Classic Nebbiolo from Serralunga d'Alba. Hometown wine that I drink thousands of kilometers away in Washington, DC. Tannins. I had it with Tomme de Savoie and vegetables. I miss the tajarin to pair it with. Otherwise, a great choice on the US market
