Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, plums, barnyard, oak, vanilla, cloves, smoke, bacon fat, spices and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, cooked strawberries, spices, pencil lead, black pepper, leather, earth and spices.
Medium plus in finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.
This Zinfandel is a nice everyday red wine. Almost balanced with mild complexity. Needs a couple of years in the bottle to mature.
This Lodi Zinfandel was aged for 12 months in American Oak barrels.
15% alcohol by volume.

Feb 6th, 2018Cherry on the nose, highly viscous, and dark purple hue, this Zin rocks! Dark berries on the pallete with a slight hint of bacon. Excellent, I’m adding this to my “keepers” list.

I will try it again maybe but was underwhelmed from the reviews/ratings here. It was ok but I've had better wines at the same price point.
