Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose of red currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, light oak, chocolates and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, light earth and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 9 year old Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley is still drinking beautifully, but will not last long, so drink up. Still holds enough acidity to balance the fruits.

Rich and fruit forward. Elegant and nicely balanced. Tangy and spicy. Complex and engaging.

I had this vintage 4 years ago, and it is drinking so much better now.

Delicious by itself as a sipping wine.

A field blend of 91% Zinfandel, 5% Petite Sirah and 4% Carignan. Aged for 11 months in (25% New) French oak barrels. A small production of less than 4,000 bottles.

13.9% alcohol by volume.

92 points.
