Thoroughly enjoyable #campania #aglianico - pours bright purple into glass; beguiling aromas of plum sauce, stewed black fruit, sweet cigar smoke and a tinge of tar and scorched earth that carries through on the palate. The perception of plummy sweetness on palate is balanced by succulent acidity and indeed there’s velvety tannins on the finish.

A dry wine with palpable tannins. Easy to drink (a lot of)!
