Les Picasses Chinon Cabernet Franc

Always one of my favorites.

Really fresh for its age, with earthy and leafy nicely integrated.

A favorite Cab Franc. Performing very well

Nutty and plummy smelling with beautiful plushy fruit even in it's slightly more evolved state.

Served out of the wine cabinet @ 56...black-cherry Jolly Rancher with herbs and earth. Warmed and opened up by the fire. Bright mid dark light red fruits with herbs, touch of spice, earth, presence of cooked green pepper and raspberry cola on the finish. Big acidity. If it wasn't for the GP, it's near Burgundian.

Always a pleasure to drink, and the '02 is shining bright. This was delicious with Easter ham and good friends!

Whoah! Raffault barnyard aroma to 11! Red berry, earth, rusted metal, powerful inner earth aromas. Rusted, berry and lovely. 50/50 poop/fruit ratio is perfect.

Dense and powerful.
