Inmesceo Paso Robles Mourvedre Blend
Paso Robles, Central Coast, California, USA

Inky in color with a short purple rim.
Fruity nose with black currants, black plums, blackberries, light oak, Italian spices, licorice, cola and chocolate notes.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with blackberries, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, herbs and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This young and interesting blend from Paso Robles is already drinking beautifully. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and extracted.
Showing nice complexity with good balance. Delicious, tangy and very spicy.
At this point, the Cabernet is more dominant than the Mourvedre. Feels like a Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from California.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with some airtime. Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food.
A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Mourvedre. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. A tiny production of less than 1,000 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
