A Petite Syrah based blend. I recognized that expressive, almost jammy edge followed by grippy, spicy dark fruit/plummy flavors laced with warm herbs. On the finish a sharp pipe tobacco note (I just recognized that from when I secretly took a puff from my dad’s pipe 🥴). Isn’t it amazing how wine can take you to places you have been before.
