I’m tasting this alongside old vines Gevrey Chambertin and a Côtes de Nuits Villages from a great winemaker and this rocks. Juicier and sooo balanced! Violets and cherries abound. Sweet cherries and blueberries. Brett, vanilla, and sweet spices. Finishes sweet. Moderate acidity, tannins, and body. Didn’t quite get the hype... perhaps next time a better bottle...

From memory, I was very impressed with this. Lots of complexity on the nose and palate. Displays grainy, textured tannins with deftly balanced acidity. Finishes with rose hip, cinnamon and cola. Ravishing...
