Old vegetal notes, ripe plums, and black cherries on the nose, well integrated acid, 13.5% alcohol which adds to a spicy note on the palate. Smooth and low tannins, not bone dry but ripe fruits make it taste > sweet than it is. Mouthful of jammy black currant, black cherries, plum, and blackberries with a slightly bitter and boozy finish. Super smooth. Not very complex but rich and concentrated.

Consistently good. Just the right amount of bite. Compliments summer fare so perfectly. Can drink ever hot summer day.

Tannic, very dark, robust. Scent of cherries? Went well with drowning out my grandmother narrating alongside The Shawshank Redemption.
