85$/12.5%. Sadly 85$. I met Tim Fröhlich (aka Tim ‘Cheerful’) ca. 15 years??? ago at ‘La République’ in LA - now a restaurant - in what used to be the house of Charlie Chaplin. It was a major Riesling tasting with the late Rudi Wiest. Anyways ever since I have been a mega fan. White peach, white flowers on the nose. Smokey and wild in the glass. Yeasty. Hint sweetness nicely balanced with acidity. Stonefruit, white peach, yellow peach, hint sour mandarine, elderberry. Incredible minerality - bursting with freshness and vitality and Fröhlichness - its good to be alive!
