Alluring. Redolent of crushed morello cherry, black raspberry, blood orange, mint, singed herbs, camphor, cinnamon, crushed flowers, baked earth and volcanics. The oak is there, I’d like to see a little less though. There’s an umami undertone that I find really intriguing. The level of extract makes for a pleasant mouthful but never approaches being heavy handed or clumsy, its got an ease about it. Tannins are persistent but very detailed. Gorgeous wine

Oct 27th, 2018Lifted perfume of fresh red fruit, citrus blossom and a touch of exotic spice. Soft red berry fruit, sandalwood and hints if eucalyotus finish pleasantly dry. Gentle and complex, with good intensity and a long minerally finish.
