Some pretty aromatics of cherry, sweet spice and tomato, with tart cherry on the palate. However, palate feels a bit edgy and young, with primary notes of rusty earth, almost a bit metallic. Firm tannin, good persistence. Enjoyable but not entirely resolved.

90 minute decant wasn’t enough to open it so I waited 24 hours. Love it now. Smooth and earthy early. Medium body and medium plus acidity with notes of plum, stewed cranberry and medium tannin that are noticeable smoother and better integrated here on day 2. Still slightly strong for me...but I’ve almost leaned my lesson...
