Like a high end Barolo and ripe for drinking now. 15 years old and muddy opaque. Still plenty of tannins. Much more body than what I remember out of a gattinara. Great wine.

Very nice too the pallet, bit could with a bit of time. Cellarmaster says another 6 months. But fruits and acids are nice and not too overpowering.

My colleagues are enjoying this without me due to no alcohol for Lent. It smells great and folks are raving about it. I must try later.
