Walter Scott
La Combe Verte Chardonnay
Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA
Considered white Burgundy or Etna Bianco.
Called Canary Islands. Salty and reductive.
Lots of acid. Should’ve considered Willamette as this reminds me of Morgen Long wines. Good vintage for most of the west coast.

2023 vintage. Medium body. Harmonious melange of green apple and pear with light-medium oak influence and complimentary acidity. Tremendous QPR and the nice price for this producer. 1.3.26.

Burgundian in character. The nose is white peach, flint, petrol, oak, and gunpowder. The palate adds lemon, quince, white pepper and cedar. Medium alcohol, medium body, high acid, and a long finish.
