Clear deep red. Mullein, spearmint and white pepper on nose. Cherry, blueberry, blackberry, spearmint and white pepper in mouth. Mild seed bitterness in finish, with time, moderate skin astringency across middle of tongue. Lovely example of the fruit-and-herb expression of Washington state reds in general, and Malbecs here in particular.

Dark, inky with an herbaceous nose, subtle hints of celery. Very smooth and well rounded with a delicious palate of blackberry, boysenberry, mint and a hint of white pepper. Very easy drinking.
