@Delectable Wine - This is Sonnenglantz, not the Mambourg.

For a Gewurz-head like me, this is delicious. Nose features bright, lusciously ripe fruit in the form of canned peaches and pears, along with lychee, lilies, and a gravelly note. It’s Auslese-level sweet in the mouth, but has a nice sense of freshness (for Gewurz, which is a low acid varietal). This won’t be a long ager, but when I’m in my Gewurz mood like I am right now, this high-quality, good value co-op (Cave de Beblenheim) wine scratches the itch.
