2024 vintage. Calkarasi is the grape. Pale straw color. Aromas of lime, unripe peach, and a slight funk that I can identify, pickle (?). Moderate amount of bright citrus fruit acidity that stays mostly on top of the tongue with a balanced finish. Really enjoyable. — 3 months ago

2020 vintage. Apparently, Brezza Giacomo e Figli is a certified organic producer in Barolo, known for crafting high-quality Barbera d'Alba Superiore. This was a well-structured Barbera I found best decanted for 30 minutes. Black fruit, herbs and white pepper on the nose. Medium body with notes of blackberry, tart cherry. and dried herbs and a play between moderate acidity and tannin with a exceptional medium length finish. This was perfect with pasta puttanesca and tuna and white bean salad. — 2 months ago
Aha ha ha ha ahuhn, this is a French sparkling brut rose, a crement. She is from Alsace with crisp tiny bubbles, creamy body, with a toasty, yeasty flavor. I never can explain the nose of sparkling wines, so I won’t. — 3 years ago
2022 vintage. Aromas of lemon and minerals. A well-made light bodied wine with flavors of unripe pear and lemon and crushed gravel takes over at the end. — 2 months ago
2022 vintage. As good as a quality German Riesling, I’m surprised I’m the first to rate this wine. Made in a kabinett halbtrocken style — light, slightly sweet just shy of dry. Check. Unripened peach and something oily (?) on the nose. A good amount of acidity with a long finish. Like a good Riesling the sugar and acid are well-balanced wine. There is a line of minerality underneath apricot and pineapple flavors. — 2 months ago
