Really liked this orange from the border of Slovenia and Italy. Light but funky and balanced with mineral depth. — 7 years ago
I’m taking a macro econ class and when I see the pi symbol all I think about is inflation. Inflation happens when there is a general increase in prices and a fall in the purchasing value of money. I’d really like to make a connection with depreciation and this natural Merlot from Italy but truth be told this funky jammy natty beauty is commensurate with her value, and I don’t really understand econ well enough to say anything else about that. — 8 years ago
Had higher expectations, but ended up very pleased none the less. Aroma reminds of geuze and other lambics. Sour apples, wool, grain, burnt sugar and oak. Suprisingly sweet finish, but a very nice acidity. Paired with scallops. Worked wonders. — 10 years ago

Fruili Merlot from a great vintage in Italy . Dense & medium to big bodied, crushed red fruits, juicy but restrained, & some open forest floor & pine needles. Good tension too on long ish finish. Who knew? — 2 years ago
