Unpretentious fun easy drinking little bianchetta. Lemon meringue warhead flavored slurpee. I wanna drink this with some fish tacos with a little fresh crema mixed with mayo and a squeeze of lime. This is quintessential beach wine but an ocean not a lake — 9 years ago

Aromas & Flavors
Fragrant notes of citrus zest, green apple, white peach, and Mediterranean herbs. Subtle accents of sea spray and crushed rocks give the wine its unmistakable Ligurian identity.

Mouthfeel
Light-bodied, crisp, and energetic with zippy acidity. The finish is marked by a refreshing saline minerality and a delicate citrus lift.

Winemaking Notes

2021/4/21-22 with pork shoulder Neapolitan alla genovese, busciata di tuminia cacio e pepe, etc. Rich with black cherry, iron and spice, but a nice backbone of acid keeping this fresh and tannin giving structure. I am always suspicious of native Italian varieties that see barriques, but it wasn’t intrusive here - whether due to a deft touch, time or both. — 5 years ago

Nose of blackberry bramble just after the fog has been absorbed and the sun starts it’s magnifying bake..

Blueberry skin, pomegranate rind, genovese basil. Lingering pomelo zest, lightly integrated body floating on a lightly tannic wine.

2021/4/21-24 with pork shoulder Neapolitan alla genovese, busciata di tuminia cacio e pepe, etc. Pours a yellow gold. This was wonderful on day 1, with lots of bitter almond, beeswax and stone fruit.
