A really nice everyday Pinot (Costco $10) that has mild fruit, plum and violet. 2018 is very smooth from start to finish. Great by itself (cool and let warm and open) and will not overpower food. Will go back for more. May 202 — 6 years ago

Yes, this a chamboursin fortified build….nevertheless it may be one of the best I’ve had to date! The key, I think, was that 202 was a classic vintage - avg temps and rain….so more exaggerated sugar levels, rather balance in the red hybrid fruit. This actually took on a classic ruby port profile. 202 spring / summer. I wonder if my ratings are suffering from inflation, but the truth is often I would be happy doing all of my drinking from de Villaine’s range. This particular Fortune was notably more developed than the 2017 or 18, in a good way - lots of woodsy complexity over the brighter berry fruit. — 6 years ago

it is quite amazing & might be one of my favorites that i can find around me & in a great price range. Billys parents got the 2013 and I saw the 2010 & wondered if it was as good as the 2013. It is a bit more tangy than the 2013 but it is really good. Found it on rt 202 for $16 — 11 years ago
