Excellent! It took very little time to breathe which was unexpected for a 2011. We will be buying more of this if we can find it. — 2 years ago
2020 vintage. The last vintage for this wine as it was bought from the Bécot family ( owners of Beauséjour-Bécot) by the owners of Haut-Brion in 2021. It will be incorporated into Château Quintus (which is a merger of 3 estates: Tertre-Daugay, L'Arrosée and Grand-Pontet). Many Saint-Emilion estates disappeared, incorporated into other estates, some very good wines sadly disappeared like Curé Bon La Madeleine (now into Canon), Cadet-Piola (now into Soutard) and so on. The fact that Grand Cru Classés can legally be incorporated into Premier Grands Crus Classés tells you that you have to take the classification with more than a grain of salt. A bit shy on the nose, even after a few hours. Medium-bodied, nice value for a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé. — 3 years ago
2000 for daughters birthday decanted, wonderful immediately and grew better over time sitting in the decanter. Only one bottle left in cellar after this one. — 6 months ago
2018 vintage. A more flashy, extracted style compared to stable mates Villemaurine and Sansonnet, but very well done. — 2 years ago
A very alluring blend, still young. — 2 years ago
It has matured flavor over 10 years. But need to wait at least for 30 minutes. Gentle, matured black fruits with acidity and tanning. Now is the time to drink! So 9.0 Château Larmande Le Cadet de Larmande St. Emilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2011 @1240, domaine -, 220520-220523 — 4 years ago
We have tasted three vintages., the 2019, 2010 and the 2015.
The 2019 was closed with no expressive attributes. The 2010, although was from a more matured vintage was surprisingly powerful however the tannins overwhelmed all other nuances ( probably needs some hours of decanting).
The 2015was at its peak. A complex and developing wine. With each tasting there are new aromas, fruit, barrel, maturation and the palate is strong, balanced with a lengthy finish — 6 months ago
Just delicious, dark fruit, a little green in the best way, long soft tannins — 3 years ago

Clear, medium ruby to garnet in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of black cherries, cassis, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and intense primary and secondary flavors of blackberries, black cardamom, and wet gravel with a medium finish. This wine is simple, but balanced. Overall, I rate this wine as good. — 16 days ago
