Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Fresh fruit, light bodied, still some cab pepper and dark fruits, but easy to drink. Great food wine. Amazing value. — a month ago

I used to regularly order from this winery, but stopped. First, they stopped shipping to my state, so I did a work-around by shipping to my sister’s house and picked it up when I visited. But then I started experiencing mad swings in quality from vintage to vintage. So I just stopped ordering. Maybe I’ll give it another shot.

@Tom Casagrande I just found out about them recently. I am so impressed with the “light bodied” wines. It may be some good bottles and I live 2 hours south of them so maybe shipping isn’t great. I think for 17 dollars a bottle in the club I’m still ok with some variability.

Needed 2 hours of air. Then cherries, leather, some herbs, dried fruit, more cherries, dust. Really great. — a month ago

Light bodied, flowers and herbs, cherry liqueur, lingering wood and cherries and leather finish. Dry. Overall I like it and would drink again for the price. — 5 months ago

Paso Robles Merlot 2017

Awesome! Dark fruit, cherry, olive, long lingering tannin, great with food. So smooth but the tannin keeps going. Good amount of herbs mixed with fruit. Such a great value — 2 months ago

Estate Grown Paso Robles Aglianico 2015

Delectable ate my contemporaneous notes on this, but from what I remember it had a beautiful balance of fruit and extract, just enough tannin, bright acids and high-toned limestoney Paso minerality. I prefer this over most Taurasis I’ve had. — 7 years ago
