Buy, but, buy... Slight bubbles, refrshingsly sweet and fruity. Great pool wine. Washed down harrissa and lamb kofta. — 9 years ago

Wow. $8. This is a fairly decent Douro and a steal at < $15 let alone <$10. Med-full with good length and med tannins. — 9 years ago
Easy drinking, good dry not overly fruity wine — 6 months ago
Last had a bit under 3 years ago. Could use a ton more time. Probably would have called southern Rhone blind. Quite generous with lots of red fruit. Excellent acid and a bit of refinement on the finish give some sense that this is from somewhere else - in this case, higher altitude wines in the Douro valley that the producer uses in the best years for a reserva. Nice wine. — 7 months ago
Color is a mix of purple and burgundy, a bit cloudy. Nose of dried strawberry, spicy note, currants, and carbonates grape juice. Taste is smooth and follows the nose with addition of zest, decent acidity, and tiny hint of mineral. Some more blackberry. And some more black pepper. Aftertaste of some more warmth from black peppers. Clean and warm, and above average. — 5 years ago
Hugo loved this at the beach over one ice cube. Perfect refreshing summer wine — 6 years ago
One of my favorite reds from Douro in north Portugal. Deep red violet color with beautiful tears on the glass. Forest berries and deep caramel aromas with an excellent dry finish. Pairs with red meats, game and very strong cheeses. — 9 years ago
The best "vinho verde" ever. — 9 years ago
Surprisingly delicious, well balance with a silky texture and long finish on the palette. Great value, — 6 months ago
Fio a Fio Vinho Verde, really nice for summer. Lite & crisp. Had at wine Wednesday with Steph & Emily. — a year ago
Mateus Dry Rosé colors up as a medium-pale orange, or salmon color. Red fruit dominates the nose - strawberry mainly - with plenty more of it on the palate. The acidity is brisk, and the fruit flavors are up front. It's not a complicated wine, but it is fairly tasty and may be your best bet for adding the Baga grape to your “have tried” list. It is blended with the Shiraz. — 4 years ago
Very fruity, and juicy. Blackberry, oak and vanilla dominate the palette. — 6 years ago
Light, crisp, and easy drinking. Small amount of bubbles with lemon and green apples on the nose. Prominent green apple taste. — 8 years ago
