Very nice price/pleasure ratio for this beautiful natural grape variety wine featuring Montepulciano in the spotlight in an interpretation of the purity of fruit. Deep purple dress. Sour cherry, plum, almond, vanilla, integrated oak; of a beautiful intensity. In the mouth it is charming and intense, balance, on the generosity of the fruit, of a beautiful delicacy of which the Italians definitely have the secret. Coup de coeur! To drink a little refreshed.

Très jolie rapport prix/plaisir pour ce beau vin nature de cépage mettant le Montepulciano à l’honneur dans une interprétation sur la pureté du fruit. Robe violine profonde. Nez cerise, griotte, prune, amende, vanille, chêne intégré; d’une belle intensité. En bouche c’est charmant et intense, équilibre, sur la générosité du fruit, d’une belle gourmandise dont les italiens ont définitivement le secret. Coup de cœur! Cherry dress, charming nose of the Burgundian PN between strawberry, cherry, mushroom, cloves; discreet breeding tip between vanilla and tobacco. In the mouth it is lively, with a mineral marker that imposes itself. Semi-Light body that comforts the breeding tannins. Chanson lays the foundations of Burgundy in what is most essential, magnifying the PN. Easy to drink, elegant. 2019 at its peak.

En bouche c’est vif, avec un marqueur minéral qui s’impose de lui-même. Corps demi-Léger confortant les tanins d’élevage. Charming Pinot-Noir that is a great pleasure reminiscent of the wines we taste in Sancerre, Menetou-Salon or Reuilly more than Burgundy. Simple but in good balance, with a cold extraction that brings out a maximum of fruit and variety notes. Here no eyeshadow, breeding hiding anything. It's gourmet, authentic at an affordable price. The PN is respected and delivers in a simple way, perfect light bodied wine. The only problem: the bottle empties very quickly. So to drink by two!

Charmant Pinot-Noir qui rappelle avec grand plaisir les vins qu’on goûte du côté de Sancerre, Menetou-Salon ou Reuilly plus que la Bourgogne. Simple mais au bel équilibre, avec une extraction à froid qui fait ressortir un maximum de fruit et de notes variétales. Ici pas de fard, d’élevage cachant quoi que ça soit. C’est gourmand, authentique à prix abordable. Le PN est respecté et se livre et de manière authentique en toute simplicité, parfait light bodied wine. Seul problème: la bouteille se vide très vite. Cuvée Primeur, but not "Nouveau" from Gamay in Beaujolais by the Lapierre family. We recognize the style on the purity that has made the reputation of these remarkable winemakers. A charming and subtle fresh and pure juice, between strawberry, pomegranate, red fruits, floral notes. Even better the next day.

A charming PN quite typical of Swiss Valais. Light ruby color with a beautiful shine. Nose: red fruit a little spicy. Lively mouth strawberry, raspberry, licorice, with a beautiful aromatic extraction/concentration. A wine that is both light, fresh, with fine and gouleyant tannins, and length in the mouth A nice treat to serve a little refreshed.

Not a serious wine, but a seriously enjoyable one. America’s first sparkling Sauvignon Blanc is refreshing and verdant (aromas of wet grass, flavors of lime, green apple, papaya, guava) as you’d might expect from an aromatic white grape + charmant method. What you might not expect, though, is 15th century chic label and name inspired by Shakespeare’s Henry V or the winemaker (one Chris Christensen), a biracial Iowa native who has dedicated his winemaking career to exploring and elevating CA Sauvignon Blanc. This wine serves as a reminder that when it comes to wine, as with so many other facets of life, the most refreshing ideas rarely come from the usual suspects. Onward! — 6 years ago

Second tasting one year apart.. still as charming. Raspberry colour, unfiltered. In addition to the varietal notes, the bouquet tends towards the peppery herbs, between tea, vetiver, rose, dried herbs. As the wine opens, notes of blood orange, or sangria, develop giving energy to the whole. The tannins are very fine but persistent, with chew. We would drink it from breakfast.

Deuxième dégustation à un an d’intervalle.. toujours aussi charmant. Robe framboise, non filtré. Outre les notes variétales, le bouquet tend vers le végétal poivré, entre thé, vétiver, rose, herbes séchées. A mesure que le vin s’ouvre, des notes d’orange sanguine, ou sangria se développent donnant du tonus à l’ensemble. Les tanins sont très fin mais persistants, avec de la mâche.
