2019 vintage. A tiny 2 hectares Haut-Médoc estate owned by Fabien Autet, chef de culture at Malescot St. Exupéry. A rare blend of 5 grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Carmenère. Another incredible Bordeaux under 15 euros! Very elegant, this is more about finesse than sheer power. Subtle nose with cherries, strawberries, and a distinctive floral touch. Medium-bodied, very fresh with juicy cherry and blackcurrant fruit, fine-grained tannin and a very good length. Amazingly cheap for this quality. Abv. 13,5%. And a Diam 10 cork without drying, praise the Lord! — 4 months ago
