Elegant Fleurie with ripe red and black fruits, red flowers and a strong mineral note from the pink granite soils in Fleurie. Well balanced acidity makes this wine fresh and great to pair with food . Really enjoyed this with duck confit cassoulet with friends tonight. — 7 years ago

Visiting Paris i fell into this marvellous wine shop called Lavinia
Got recommended a few wines and this is my first
Lovely all the way
I like the fact that the Beaujolais area gifts us with this gems full of fun, not cerebral, but rather extremely enjoyable
It had a good length
Price was more than reasonable
Very happy with this and the good company helps always too — 3 years ago

‘22 must have been very good in parts of Beaujolais. Black fruits with Asian spices and souis bois ,a vaguely dark metallic quality on the nose, tilt the bowl and grapeyness rushes in. Refreshing acidity, not exceptionally long…but enough. Cleansing and and bright. Slightly perfumed on the palate with a lingering umami aftertaste. Pretty stuff.
$31 in Pennsylvania, then here comes a clearance sale, and it was $11!
The LCB in PA. makes no sense, favorably sometimes. — 3 months ago
