Deep garnet color, thick (not filtered, not glued) Beautiful evolved notes - red fruits, licorice, pomegranate, and many shades between undergrowth, spices etc. developing during tasting. A Loire wine that has magnificently endured 18 years in cellar and needs to take the time to open.

Very pretty racy Moulin-à-Vent, which pinote, with the intensity expected on this appellation and the crunchy character of the gamay which is perfectly expressed here in tones that are both refined and lively. Notes of red fruits, cherries, flowers, sweet but intense spices, pepper in front. Complex and mineral finish. Can age and evolve even more favorably in the Burgundian style over the next 5/10 years, maybe more!

Très jolie Moulin-à-Vent racé, qui pinote, avec l’intensité attendu sur cette appellation et le caractère croquant du gamay qui s’exprime ici à merveille dans des tons à la fois raffinés et vifs. Notes de fruits rouges, cerises, fleurs, épices douces mais intenses, poivre en avant. Finale complexe et minérale. Nice organic Croze, a little closed at first, but develops well during tasting. Floral notes and fruity first, mint-minhole herb touch in a second step, something between the mineral and the notes liquorice in the distance. Final a little frank but very correct overall. 3.7

Clear, translucent straw dress. Pear nose, citrus zest, brioche, and woody tip. Hyper balanced mouth with a certain charm, a beautiful length on freshness, well-balanced body between brioche notes and melted breeding tannins. A wine that obviously evokes the Burgundian style with this very "new world" way to reveal itself unequivocally. The way to drive aromas subtly during the tasting may be what is missing to make it a little magical wine.( Irrigation, terroir)

Robe paille claire, translucide. Nez poire, zeste d’agrume, brioche, et pointe boisée. Bouche hyper équilibrée au charme certain, avec une belle longueur sur la fraîcheur, avec un corps bien affirmé entres notes viennoise et tanins d’élevage fondus. Un vin qui évoque évidemment le style bourguignon avec cette façon très « nouveau monde » de se livrer sans équivoque. La manière de se dévoiler subtilement au cours de la dégustation sera peut être ce qui manque pour en faire un vin un peu magique.(Irrigation, terroir) — 3 years ago

Upper class Gamay, marked by aging in oak barrels. Deep and concentrated. Evocation of Burgundy in classical style close to Château des Jacques. The fruit is set back, and the charm of gamay is not fully expressed, trying to play in the course of Pinot-noir without having the vertical character, imprint of the terroir. The 5 years of guards brought unity to the whole and a beautiful general outfit.

Gamay classe supérieure, marqué par un élevage en fût de chêne. Profond et concentré. Évocation de la Bourgogne dans style classique proche du Château des Jacques. Le fruit est en retrait, et le charme du gamay ne s’y exprime pas pleinement, essayant de jouer dans la cours du Pinot-noir sans en avoir le caractère vertical, marqueur du terroir. Les 5 années de gardes ont apporté de l’unité à l’ensemble et une belle tenue générale. — 4 years ago
