2014 vintage. This seems to be a commercial brand, registered by the Peyronie family (Château Fonbadet). The INAO tried to forbid it, but Peyronie won in appeal, and they can continue to use the brands Château Pauillac and Château Haut-Pauillac. I have no idea if the wines under these labels are produced from grapes in the Fonbadet vineyards, if they are second wines, etc. However, this is a nice, fully mature old-school Pauillac that I found in a supermarket for a ridiculously low price. Incredible value. Had this wine with a house label at restaurant in NYC. Really enjoyed it. — 4 years ago

Wonderful value! There’s not tons of complexity or depth here but it is super solid Bordeaux for a steal of a price. Needs time to fully display what it is. Decant for at least 1 hr or lay down for another couple years. — 15 hours ago
