A brilliant vintage for this wine. A top 5 Crozes. Easy. Spice, game, some funk, blueberry, black berry, black cherry, huge granite and even some wilted flowers. Young but tasty palate of dazzling granite and velvety tannins and engaging energy from the minerality. Terrific power, depth and concentration. Needs 5 years. So long and such beautifully defined fruit on the incredibly long finish. Really rich and dark. Awesome. Wait 5 years. As this opens the balance becomes superb. Almost a 9.4. I’ll be back. — 6 years ago
Nuits-Saint-Geoges 2009, excellente surprise, merci Gaby! — 8 years ago
Blend of Merlot (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Dark ruby color with a brick colored meniscus. Aromas of graphite, ripe black fruit, violets and mint. Bold blackberry/black currant/black cherry fruit flavors with additional flavors of tobacco, iron, vanilla and sweet baking spices. Well integrated toasted oak on the long and luxurious (slightly bitter) finish. Soft tannins and well integrated acidity. Aged perfectly. — 4 months ago
Tad oxidative, high concentration of pyrazines- green bell pepper and fresh peppercorn. Black-fruited, mid-full weight with graphite, menthol, licorice, plums and red currant. Great value for a second label, about 80% Merlot. — 8 years ago
Floral notes. High VA and jammy. Good for the money. — 3 years ago
Found in a wine shop in bigfork, Montana. On a two week trip we bought 3 bottles. Good acid, not too heavy or thick, no oak taste,, perfect with food — 6 years ago
Sweet in the best way a bubbly can be - notes of honey, lychee, orange blossom, low alcohol — 6 years ago
A very good Bordeaux in the style that we like (juicy with tannins and not much earth). Not sure it is worth the $50 price tag, but a very good option. Fruit forward and not terribly earthy for an old world wine. Good tannins though could smooth out a bit with more time. — 8 years ago

Nicolas in Cinci with Aidan and Gaby. Reminiscent of a burgundy chard. Absolutely delicious. — 22 days ago
