This magnum was a gift from co-workers at my old job when I left to take a new one. Nice coworkers! So rich and resolved. This wine reminds me of Neil Young’s Vampire Blues. “I’m a vampire babe. Felt like a vampire pouring this dark purple port into the carafe. Similar color and viscosity to a pint of blood. Dark and dried fruit forward. Bold and semi-sweet with a nice finish. Too young but whatever. I enjoyed. — 5 years ago

If I was a vampire, I imagine getting drunk on the blood of my victims, and tasting the sensuous flavor burst of this brilliant red blend. Deep purple, with a peppery chocolate cherry. The victim was definitely a smoker, aged in wood. I Vant you to Vant me, and this wine does. — 6 years ago
