Tried this when visiting Purdue at Wine Cellar Bistro in Lafayette. Brought home their last bottle. Enjoyed whole cooking dinner last night. We’ve really been trying and enjoying more of Southern Italian wines. — 4 years ago

Excellent dense flavor. Samar, Vivek, and Parvinder. Postino in Lafayette. — 9 years ago
Ironic that I was planning to drink this tonight and then the winery was mentioned in a book I'm reading!! A nose that smacks you right in the face! Can't put my finger on it, but it reminds me of opening brand new toys when I was little. Surprisingly light on flavor and very short though. As I said last week, the Fingers Lakes Whites are coming along! — 10 years ago

Super delicious at Community in Lafayette, CO October 2018 — 8 years ago
Almost clear in color with the slightest golden hue. Medium nose with subtle hints of grapefruit and vodka. Very thick on the palate, but a classic Dry Riesling throughout. Rather short finish, but very nice. — 9 years ago
Very pleasant, sweet balances well, Riesling serves its purpose — 9 years ago
Very concentrated at this stage of aging....silky mouthfeel but not a lot of volume. Nice perfumed nose leads to an overall "delicate" use of red...did not push around bigger meats...good for pork roast — 10 years ago
So this is a good story! It’s too hot to go outside for one so I decided to open a wine I haven’t had yet and pair it with some cheese for an afternoon snack. A double Gloucester with onion & chive cheese, a garlic & herb BellaVitano and a soft dill Havarti and of course I love Castelvetrano olives! So… I send this picture to my brother, knowing that he is in France right now and I’m not usually a French wine drinker, and where do you suppose he is? In Alsace!! Needless to say I scored some points with him and am enjoying a new French wine! Thanks Alex!! Oops I forgot, this wine is made up from the Noble grapes of Alsace; Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Muscat. And… the story goes on….while reading a historical fiction about The Women of Chateau Lafayette. — 3 years ago

Thanks to Hays for showing up on my trip to Lafayette - old friends and great wine — 9 years ago
A full six years from vintage - crazy concentrated wanna-be-port! Wow! Powerful dark fruit compote with ample acidity still intact. Imagine the weight of a think PV with the profile of a California CabFranc. Aging mission: SUCCESS! A few more bottles in storage :) — 9 years ago
Tasty, yummy — 10 years ago
