The best wine I have ever tasted! — 9 years ago
Slightly sweet but surprisingly easy to drink — 10 years ago
1st night at new house in NC - we wanted a local wine and found this beauty: New World style w/ rigid acidic backbone & expressive minerality along with some beautiful fruit aromas spanning the spectrum: red delicious apples, figs, hazelnuts, pineapple, guava and some melon. Very generous w/some heft & elegance. Pleasantly surprised for $15! — 6 years ago
Really good. Older vintage from cellar 👍worth saving. — 9 years ago
Fruity but dry and easy drinking. Definitely recommend again. — 11 years ago
This is an astounding effort from a fantastic vintage for region that’s not supposed to grow anything but tobacco… This single varietal is grown at lower level elevation. Not too far from Greensboro, this is remarkably expressive of herbs, florality, and dried red fruit! The balance in mouth feel are exquisite… Absolutely shocked to learn that this was vinted at Childress under Michael Zimmerman‘s direction. Stunning!! — 5 years ago
Good, berry, easy drinking, goes with cheese, pasta, pizza, etc. Repeat — 8 years ago
Not as sweet as other muscadines. I really liked this one though. — 10 years ago

For $14 are you kidding me?! NC Yadkin Valley fruit, actually BDX blend heavy on CF and it was delicious. New World nose but if you peek under the hood there is some Loire. absolutely delicious with or without food as tannins are relatively tamed. Easy drinking & well made — 23 days ago
