A nice, crisp, chardonnay. Not over-oaked. Color a little cloudy, I may have refrigerated too long. Drank w mom and Chloe. Would drink again. $72. — 3 years ago

Lovely, crisp honey-apple without too much sweetness. Creamy bubbles. Refreshing . 4/22/2020 had a bottle at home & it was a little flabby. Requires more investigation — 7 years ago
Good! Got my Dad’s stamp of approval. — 3 years ago
I quite enjoyed this Bordeaux blend from Larkmead. I thought it would be more subdued. The tannins were mellow but otherwise it was bright and fruit forward. Chloe liked it. Would drink again. $100, RP 94 pts. — 3 years ago
Happy little label, happy glass of wine! Would for sure buy again! — 4 years ago

This wine is drinking great. Silver Oak can be pretty tannic, especially the Alexander Valley. 10 years in, that has mellowed and you’re getting some nice fruit and secondary flavors. Chloe V-Day gift. — 3 years ago

One of the lesser Chardonnay Cuvées from Woodlands after the Chloe. Mild Stone fruit and grapefruit. Some lees work in evidence. Terrific QPR from a good vintage. — 5 years ago
Enjoyed today with takeout from the #2 restaurant on the island (#1 was paired with the DuMOL Chloe 2015). I will definitely say that this wine is a little more full bodied and a little rounder than the DuMOL but it just didn't seem to be as dynamic. Enters with a lot of round character, but then goes to more of an acidic presentation as it goes to the mid-palate. Tart lemon creme brulee seems to be the number 1 note here. There is an herbal presence towards the finish. Even though this was last year's release, it still needs 2-3 years in bottle to really express itself. Still after about an hour it really did show more intensity and complexity and went well with redfish, crab, crawfish and calamari. Definitely better with food, whereas the 15 Chloe would have mopped the floor with or without anything. If you're going to drink this one now, you might as well just put this in a decanter for 2-3 hours beforehand. Or cellar through 2030, with the peak probably sometime in 2025. — 6 years ago
