Light, smooth, grapefruit accent, very nice aperitif. — 3 years ago
Bubbly and effervescent, sweeter aftertaste, pairs well with a berry-based desert. — 5 years ago

I have never been great at pulling out the nuances of whites. But we will give it a try. Nose had a clean grassy oak aroma. I noticed more what I thought to be star fruit but others said apples and grapefruit. You decide. This lingers in your mouth with a nice long finish. Enjoyed it with charcuterie in which it shined. — 7 years ago

Lemon oil on a swab, smoky flint, underripe melon, squash blossom, corn husk bordering on jalapeño muffin, hay bale, eggshell, pie crust and white mushrooms are the primary scents. Lighter mouthfeel, with an unexpected creaminess turns olive oil with lemon oil, caperberry, and rag paper. Austerity minimized by a day of age. #moutard #chablis #chablisfordays #blancshavemorefun #blanc #chablisian #hashtag #vivelafrance — 9 years ago
Medium lemon color, aromas of stone and citrus fruits with yeasty notes, blend of six varietals with Petit Arbanne and Petit Meslier included. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and pear with lemon citrus zest and bread notes. Fine bubbles, light mousse, medium finish ending with fruit, citrus and yeasty biscuit character. Pair this aged Champagne with a shrimp or lobster salad. — 3 years ago
We paired sushi with this 2016 Chablis Premier Cru from Domaine Corinne Perchaud. Aromas and flavors of honeycomb, apples, some pineapple, limestone and minerality. The pairing enhances the sushi flavors! 🥂🍣 — 6 years ago

Champ Persin Brut. Marvelous. — 2 years ago
2020 vintage. An impressive effort, 65% Merlot and 35% Malbec, aged 12 months in oak and amphorae. Dark red with purplish rim. Black and red fruit with lovely violet aromatics from the Malbec. Power and elegance go hand in hand in the mouth. Succulent fresh fruit, high quality tannin, complexity in length. and Outperforming the 2020 Château du Glana Saint-Julien tasted next to it. This might well be Corinne Chevrier's finest wine ever. Highly recommended. Abv. 14,5%. — 3 years ago
Juicy, light, earthy and delicious. Very drinkable. — 6 years ago
Finally getting around to posting wines from my annual Napa trip from two weeks ago. Always goes by quick! Lots of fun new stops this year.
It was my first time trying Moone-Tsai wines aside from their widely distributed Napa Valley Cab, so some of these were totally brand new to me. Melka is the winemaker.
Inaugural vintage for this wine. Fruit is coming from Petaluma Gap. This seems to have a Burgundian flair, but the fruit won’t allow it to go fully there. Fairly ripe black cherries, crunchy cranberries, underbrush, black tea and slightly green. Mellow on the palate with more tannin than acidity right now (which seems unique), and a definite dried floral, dried black fruit and herbal streak down the middle of the palate. Needs some time. — 6 years ago
