Clean, crisp and flavorful - a bit riper than Chablis but very much a cool climate Wine; this has green apple, green pear, acacia, flint and wet stone, and a bright bit of herbal greenery in the background. There is more body here than in Chablis with a hint of creaminess on the palate. Really enjoyable, a food-lover’s wine. Grilled lobster, steamed shrimp, fried chicken, the possibilities are endless. — 4 years ago

Crisp CH, not overall Oakes. Stone fruit notes and citrus finish — 6 years ago
So visually sexy the deep rich purple sticks to the glass like sweat on a hot day. The nose is intoxicating Rich pulling around nice and gives you a hint you might be about to experience something wonderful. The mouth is immediately filled with a warmth and richness that only continues with flavors of chocolate plums cloves and turmeric. — 6 years ago

YUM. Fruity start, smooth middle, and a syrupy linger on the tongue. So drinkable. It's really fruit and more ish. At £10 it's well worth the money. — 6 years ago
Black cherry compote for days....thick in the mouth. Consumed over ninety-six hours and, impressively, barely budged. — 6 years ago
Very easy drink and great with red meat dishes recommended — 7 years ago

Reflections of Burgundy.
Piercing, linear and laser-focused. Tilts towards tartness, but doesn’t cross the line. Limes, gooseberries and kiwi fruit dominate the mid-palate. Lovely presentation which needs no food. $22 per. Fill yer boots! — 2 years ago
Soft and subtle tannins, higher acidity, dark cherry, chocolate, plum and slight baking spice notes. Great one it’s own, or would be good with food — 4 years ago
Cherries and tannins and berries, oh my! — 5 years ago
