fantastic find: was craving a legit southern French wine, something authentic w/plenty of terroir and this delivered. this is their cuvée called "Second Effort" which is only made in the best vintages: a deep dark ruby, the nose was gorgeous w/liqueur like red raspberry, black raspberry, cherry, blackberry then you get whiffs of white pepper, meat, mineral, dried herbs, savory, sweet Earth then the palate reflects the nose and was luscious, elegantly balanced w/a long lingering finish. — 5 months ago
