We had the 2009 Vintage on 9/7-8/18. The strawberry fruit is subtle. There was cardomom, mushroom and a nice spice. Truly Burgundian. Medium bodied. No tannin; smooth and ready to drink. — 8 years ago

In a perfect place. Always love Bize and with some nice age this is great. Excellent pick from the somm at Daniel. Beautifully aromatic with wonderful fruit. Just a slight hint of tannin, but still good lifting acid on the finish. Great pairing with both a skin-on black bass as well as a nice strip loin. Long finish. — 5 years ago
Very French, delicious & the tiniest bubbles!

A 1994. Incredibly delicious, round, and surprisingly still fresh enough to suggest it could have sat a year or two more if needed. Was lucky to have it. Thanks @Jason Miller — 8 years ago
Ripe, powerful, complex. Brilliant ruby-garnet. Haunting flavors, tremendous grip and persistence. Fruit-forward, black cherries and kirsch framed by limestone and earth and generously toasted oak. More defined flavors will emerge in a few years, but this is a complex and vibrant wine that will coat your palate aggressively with dense fruit. — 8 years ago
This 1986 Clos Vougeot still shows its noble structure and vibrant spine of acidity. On the nose, the fruit has mostly receded, leaving a haunting bouquet of dried leaves, tobacco, forest floor, worn leather, and port. Subtle traces of dried cherry and black tea linger in the background. The palate is lean yet remarkably fresh, lifted by bright, persistent acidity that gives the wine an almost ethereal energy.
Not a big fan of old wine, but a well preserved example like this makes me want to experience more. — 7 months ago

Sedoso y elegante. — 6 years ago
I was curious about longevity of this wine. Popped and poured and just delicious. — 6 years ago
Pale lemon green in appearance. Very distinct nose with wax, crayon and a little bit of lemon. Balanced acidity (6/10) and medium bodied. Layered with minerality, spices, a touch wax with ton of citrus. Long finish. Drink till 2022. — 7 years ago
