Top ! — 5 years ago

Probably the strangest wine of the evening. At first, I thought it was flabby and dull (hey, Fíe Gris?). But then my excitement grew, and I started to enjoy this wine. Like a lot! Especially the way tannin and acidity play in the taste, twisting and overflowing each other. In the nose, it's non-mainstream and rather shy. Spoiled apricots, dark bread, ascorbic candy, smokiness, mango, flowers and subtle rot notes. Nice.

Open this an hour before you serve it at 15-16 degrees.
Once it opens there's terrific ripe yellow pear, apple and florals. Great texture. A minerality that stands up to the near residual sweetness.
Perfect pairing for scallops or ceviche. — a year ago

Strawberry fields of wheat dry crispness. — 11 years ago
Let's say the grape doesn't fall far from the vine, for being the supposed pink hued parent to Sauvignon Blanc, it drinks similarly, Maybe a bit more viscous in the mouthfeel and more floral on the nose. But this is the only example I've had of this variety. Fun wine with application for food pairings. — 11 years ago
