Very smooth and delicious — 2 years ago
My first Joshua Cooper wine - had to check out the Young Winemaker of the year for 2020 awarded by Gourmet Wine Traveller magazine. Joshua has recently turned 32. This wine was quite rich and dense and a little closed aromatically - obviously quite young. Ripe plum, rose petals, with a little vegetal matter. - a big future ahead. Joshua has had wide experience with Australian wineries and in Burgundy with Domaine de la Vougeraie and Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron. This wine from the cool climate Macedon Ranges with high profile neighbours like Bindi and Curly Flat. — 5 years ago
From a terrific vintage for Corton-Charlemagne, and evident here from Vougeraie. Rich, complex and luckily showing no premox. Popcorn, exotic citrus fruits, hazelnut and hints of flint and stony minerals. Finishes with very good length and intensity...From Blue Hill at Stone Barns Cellar. — 6 years ago

Delicious. Drink this. Integrated oak, complexity and length. Peach and sweet spice with ample acidity. — 8 years ago
Delicate, floral notes on the nose, dried cherry, nicely balanced — 4 months ago
Amazing wine for the price. The nose has rich buttery notes, but also a steely reductive character that could be confused with chablis. The palate delivers all the nose promises - caramel, fresh bread, and lemon, with slate and a salty twist. Surprisingly long. Punching massively above its weight. Strong buy! — 5 years ago

2915 Probably too young today, open for 2 hrs before drinking in decanter, light red in color, transparent, hint of strawberry, cherry, mild earthy on initial taste, light tobacco, licorice on finish. I think it will be bigger and more earthy in 5-10 yrs — 6 years ago
The 7th and final GC White Burgundy. A mineral slatey nose with lovely citric acid , white peach and some toast. Medium bodied - in its infancy with great potential and energy. An ongoing theme of power and tension with these Grand Cru white Burgundies. As a general summary of the 7 Grand Cru White Burgundies they were outstanding and probably the best expressions of Chardonnay on earth. Are they worth the ever increasing $$$$s? Probably not - all in the eye of the beholder but they are incredible. Once again the monks were right in selecting the plots they did over a 1000 years ago. — 6 years ago
Robuchon Las Vegas — 7 years ago
Very vegetal on the nose, cool nose. Color very pale in the glass. In time it opens up and some raspberries begin to show. Very similar in characteristic to the vougeraie clos du prieure 2013 drank a couple of days ago. Surprised to read that this producer destems all fruits. I would have called the reverse smelling the wine. — 6 years ago
