This is equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, but my nose keeps telling me it's Syrah. Heat and spice on the nose. Muted dark fruit flavors, blackberry, raisin, figs followed by powerfully bitter tea leaves, red apple skins, and stone. A lingering tannic finish. It's good, but should have been decanted and paired with food, not sipped before bed. Try again tomorrow.

A beautiful fresh lush dark-tinged Grenache piece (with little dollops of Syrah, Cinsault, and Clairette). Partnership between Kermit Lynch and the Brunier family (of Vieux Telegraphe fame) to revive a declining 500 year old winery. The results are wonderful. Besides the aforementioned fruit, there is a vibrant cut to the palate, old vine savoriness, dusty flowers, spice, and a layer of smoke/mineral. You’ll want some game meats with this, trust me. @Delectable Wine this is the Les Racines, NOT Terrasse du Diable. — 7 years ago

Fines bulles frisantes pas un léger gaz carbonique, jaune paille, reflets verts. Une salade de fruits au nez, litchi, pêche, fruits exotiques. Une bouche piquante par le résiduel de gaz carbonique. La finale est sucrée. Il doit être bu très froid car en se réchauffant le sucre prend le dessus ce qui agresse et rend ce vin d'apéro et de terrasse perdre tout son charme. — 2 years ago
